At her fifth maintenance appointment, she came in consistent, committed, and showing up for her locs the same way she has from the very beginning. Five appointments in seven months tells its own story, she has not missed a beat, and her locs are reflecting every single one of those choices.
This stage of the journey is one of the most exciting. The foundation has been laid, the locs are forming beautifully, and the finish line of the extension phase is within reach. Just one more extension maintenance stands between Sade and a full transition into routine loc maintenance, a milestone that marks the locs truly taking on a life of their own.
